Nehal Abdel Hakim
Being active has been my lifeline no matter what the universe tossed my way and I have always been passionate about movement as a way to heal, thrive and live one’s most vital life. Originally from Egypt, I made my way to North America many years ago and started a career on Wall Street. I then transitioned to pursue my dream of becoming a physical therapist. My goal with every patient is to help them find their best path to recovery that also infuses and invigorates the joy of movement into their day-to-day life. In addition, I have completed my comprehensive Pilates training with BASI to add to the rehabilitation toolbox.
You will never find me too far away from the water. I train on my SUP as often as I can. I also love to kite-surf and travel to explore remote windy beaches in faraway places.
I received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University. My prior education includes an MBA from McGill University and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering from the American University in Cairo.
