Ed Wormold, PTA
I am a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with more than 30 years of experience delivering patient-centered care in the Southampton community. My clinical background spans outpatient orthopedics, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities, allowing me to take a comprehensive, individualized approach to rehabilitation tailored to each patient’s needs.
My connection to the East End of Long Island began well before my career in physical therapy. I first came to the area as an ocean lifeguard for the Town of Southampton, where I worked for 17 summers. That experience fostered a deep appreciation for the community and ultimately shaped my decision to live and work on the East End long term.
Professionally, I spent eight years at Southampton Hospital providing care in both acute and outpatient settings, followed by 22 years in private practice before I joined Latitude. Throughout my career, I have emphasized hands-on treatment and the development of strong, trusting relationships with patients, supporting them through every stage of recovery.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through cycling, spearfishing, water sports, and gardening. I live in Flanders with my wife and our two dogs and take great pride in continuing to serve the community I proudly call home.
