As a child growing up in New York City, I often attended performances by the New York City Ballet and the Radio City Rockettes. I remember being fascinated by all the ways the human body can express movement and adapt to its environment.
During my teenage years, my Mom introduced me to Pilates. It was love at first sight. I started taking classes regularly and quickly noticed benefits not only in my muscle strength but also in my level of focus and quality of mood throughout the day. I decided to work in a field where I could share these therapeutic benefits with others.
In 2022, after earning a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University in Southampton, I decided to also complete my Polestar Pilates education for Reformer and Mat Pilates. I continue to rehab my own injuries with daily Pilates movements, and I hope to do the same with you! I am excited to explore the relationship between the various elements such as Pilates, physical therapy, breathwork, and dance. My number one objective is to constantly learn so that I may employ that knowledge through my physical therapy practice. Working with the Latitude team, I am excited for the opportunity to grow together and contribute to the health and happiness of our community.
